The Evergreen Series is inspired by native hedgerow botanicals, in colour, pattern, texture, shape & form using acrylic & mixed media combining painting & printmaking elements.
A muted colour palette featuring a few early plant & wildflower blooms in the hedgerows found in North Wexford. Ferns, Seed heads & the evergreen Gorse & Ivy – a symbol of eternity – represented in shape, colour & tone.

Original acrylic sealed with varnish on 20cm x 20cm canvas. Floated with a 2cm shadow gap and framed in an off white box frame.
