This beautiful stretch of beach lies just north of Courtown and south of Ballymoney Beach.  North Wexford is famous for its sandy beaches that stretch for miles, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. These beaches feature soft golden sands providing a picturesque setting for relaxation and seaside activities.  Award winning  Irish artist Maria Dowling captures this iconic scene beautifully in this original artwork.  Maria paints primarily in oils starting off thinly and building up the texture. She likes to paint in a representational way, It is her aim to have a story to tell in the painting.  Maria is happiest if one of her paintings stirs up a memory or a resonance with the viewer. She paint landscapes but usually there will be water somewhere in the painting.  Maria lives in the beautiful Blackwater Valley in Co Cork but is a frequent visitor to North Wexford.
