Enigma - Jaanika Talts
May 19th - May 26th 2018
Enigma - an exhibition of over 20 new original works by Jaanika Talts will open on Saturday 19th May at 7.00pm . .
Working in acrylics the viewer will find oneself suddenly in a garden wanting only to gently move behind the flowers to see what lies beyond, or watching a sunset ablaze with azure, orange, cerise and dashes of teal, a city skyline at night or staring into one of her dark thought provoking abstract works with hints of mythological worlds and places long gone.
Now a resident artist in The Gaslamp Gallery, Jaanika continues to amass followers and buyers around the globe. In January 2018, she was commissioned by BT Ireland to produce a work that was presented to President Michael D Higgins. It is our great honour to announce that the exhibition will be formally opened by best selling Irish author Carmel Harrington.
