Shanon O'Bracken

Shanon O’Bracken is an Irish artist and graphic designer based in Monaseed, Co. Wexford.  She creates original abstract botanical Irish landscapes and Irish seascapes.  Her original art work is full of colour, textures & layers combining painting & printmaking elements using mixed-media. The variety of the Irish land & seascape provide wonderful patterns,

shapes & form to explore.  Shanon’s aim is to convey the spirit, mood & sense of place in her original works She is inspired by the magic of nature from the changing seasons, Irish native botanicals & the beautiful Irish landscape.  And of course, the ever changing Irish weather.

A graduate of Art School in 1993,Shanon O’Bracken’s style and palette has developed over time.  She has worked in design & illustration in London, Dublin, Wicklow & present day Wexford.  Shanon is also founder of Bracken Arts, a fun & imaginative arts programme designed to inspire & encourage the creativity in every child through making & creating.  She has received a Scholarship Award from the True Colors Kellee Wynne Studios.
