Corinne Young

Despite being a North Devon native, Corinne was born in Saudi Arabia in 1992, travelling back and forth between the UK and Middle East.

Corinne uses oil paints to create rich tones and textures for a multitude of works. The primary theme in her practice is portraiture, in which she uses oil paint to create rich tones and textures to bring her paintings to life.

Corinne won The Holly Bush Emerging Women Painter Prize 2020 with her striking painting “Reasons to be alone”. She has exhibited work in London and Saudi Arabia. Corinne has also participated in Sky Arts ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’.  We are delighted to introduce a range of her open water swimming themed limited edition prints to the gallery. Sea swimming is known for its numerous health benefits. The cold water immersion is invigorating and can boost circulation, enhance the immune system, and provide mental clarity. Many people find it an excellent way to de-stress and connect with nature.
