Contemporary Artist Anthony Dobson spent much of his childhood sketching rather than doing homework. This passion quickly gained momentum and before long Anthony Dobson had a number of private commissions coming in from collectors. This gave the budding artist a new confidence.  Hence he decided to turn down a place at university, choosing to focus on his artwork instead. Anthony has created stunning and characterful collection of original wildlife paintings and limited editions.

Working exclusively in oils, Anthony paints a moment in time.  His aim to capture the sense of movement and emotion present in his subject. Painting animals and wildlife gives Anthony boundless opportunities to express these moments. His signature ‘detailed, yet not overworked’ style is used to great effect in this manner and lends a wonderful expression to his work.
