Kevin Roche

“Oil and acrylic landscapes, lots of sea and sky, and sometimes a bit of science. The natural world provides an unlimited supply of light & colour and ever changing scenes and it is from this world that Irish artist Kevin Roche draws inspiration for his painting blending natural scenes with his own ideas. Works by Roche are held in Aras an Uachtarain, The State Art Collection – An Taoiseach Office as well as many private collections.

Yvonne Coomber

Rainbow drenched paintings sing of wild tumbling hedgerows, tangled meadowlands, open moorlands and magical forests. They whisper of love. These paintings transport the viewer to an effervescent place of happiness that is literally saturated in joy. A place where paint smiles

"Tread Softly"

A Solo Exhibition by Yvonne Coomber featuring both new original work & Limited Editions.

July 14th - July 24th 2016

It is truly an honour for us to welcome Yvonne Coomber to The Gaslamp Gallery this July for her first ever Irish solo exhibition.Since we started to display Yvonne's work last year, she has built up a huge following in Ireland. Yvonne's paintings are full of love and joy. They are her very personal response to the surroundings of her studio in a deeply beautiful and tranquil Devon valley. She was brought up on a farm and spent a large portion of her childhood in Ireland her mother’s homeland and the simplicity and beauty of that landscape has shaped her beautiful colourful paintings. Her formal training resulted in a degree in philosophy and literature but her true desire was to paint. Yvonne has an uncomplicated view of the world which is why she relates to art-lovers and collectors both nationally and internationally. Her work is held in public and corporate collections worldwide.
